Shandong Sanfod Group is one of the oldest and largest food importers and exporters in China. Our roots date back to 1953, when we were part of the China Cereal and Oil Food Import & Export Corporation. For over half a century, we have adapted to changing domestic and international markets to grow into one of China¡¯s largest food products companies, with over a thousand customers in more than 120 countries worldwide. Our products have proven very successful throughout China, including in such cities as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, 1and many others.
Our primary business focus is on the import and export of more than 200 kinds of food-related . commodities, including frozen fish fillet, frozen chicken, frozen rabbit meat, garlic, chestnuts, asparagus, spring roll, and seaweed, all of which have been well-recognized in international markets. Our food products enterprise activities cover the complete life-cycle of planting, producing, harvesting, processing, cold storage, and transportation services.
Deeply ingrained in our corporate culture is our emphasis on ¡°promise-keeping¡±, of keeping our word to our customers and making sure we deliver high-quality food products according to our mutually agreed upon timeframes and conditions. Sanfod staff are guided by the working principles of ¡°Creation, Practice, Premium Grade Quality, and Efficiency¡±.
We have always recognized and focused on the special importance of quality control in the food industry. Our efforts in this area have been recognized with numerous quality control certifications and awards. Since first receiving the Quality Control Gold Star awarded by the BID in 1990, we have successively been awarded Gold Medals in quality control from the 12th to the 15th International Food Fair in Paris, France (SIAL).
In 1995 we became the first seafood processor in China to receive the rigorous ISO9000 international quality control certification.
We have contributed to China¡¯s food culture by introducing many popular brands such as Sunflower, Master Chef, and Man Han Royal Feast. In addition, we sponsored and played an active part in making the TV program ¡°The Delicacies of China¡±, to carry forward the proud culture of traditional Chinese food.
In recent years, we have expanded our activities to include processing imported food for specific customers. We have also expanded into the compensation trade. These activities have strengthened our international cooperation, communication, and supply chain management capabilities as we utilize technology to interact more closely with customers in different economies and geographic regions.
Our steady and relentless focus on high quality and excellent service has allowed us to experience substantial growth. Shandong Sanfod Group owns 4 processing companies (including Qingdao Refrigeration Co. Ltd and The first Processing plant ) as well as fifteen other limited companies (including Shandong Sanfod Nissui Co. Ltd £¬Qingdao Sanfod Tai Foodstuffs Co. Ltd, and Shandong Sanfod Hotel Co. Ltd.)
We have also established 7 overseas branches and offices in Japan, the United States, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Russia, Hong Kong, and Ghana.
